By observing the way support engineers debugged common issues, we were able to emulate them with remarkable accuracy, shortening investigation time from 2 days to under 5 minutes in 85% of the cases.

MiniCity ATL: Goodie^X Hackathon

A hackathon against Gentrification in metropolitan cities, GoodieNation helps under-served communities with support from volunteers to create solutions with technology and social impact to spread awareness.
For the publicity and marketing hackathon, we had to create branding guidelines, mission and vision, website and other marketing materials for a start-up called MiniCity ATL.

Internet controlled switchboard

Controlling groups of electrical appliances with relays and Raspberry Pi, incorporating learning and monitoring patterns of usage in college buildings. Won the Infosys Project Innovation Award.
The project was only shown off with a very basic HTML UI, but the potential of application was large. This project got me interested in IoT and design, and was my first project with Raspberry Pi.

SLA Report Generator

One of my first attempts at automation of workflows, this tool connected to the database and showed a dashboard with status and a graphical view, and provided the functionality to generate reports that were manually generated in Excel thus far.
Though not the best project in terms of UI design, this project got me started on observing what users do regularly that could be taken over by simple scripts.

Timesheet Compliance tool

An intrusive Windows Forms application that won't let you proceed till you say you've filled your timesheet. (Avoid billing losses at all costs, if you will excuse the pun.)
Eventually, it evolved to support server-side reminders and automated data gathering from SAP systems, from just triggering based on time conditions.

VTU Scraper

An easy-to-use Python script written with BeautifulSoup Web Parsing library, to read results of students from the web page and populate it into a database.
